This week I celebrated with my @Astros creative team (@AstrosCreative). In this particular case, the celebration was in the form of Top golf. We really didn't have a distinct reason...just b/c we all work really hard. And so this moment was very rewarding for me. We work hard but we certainly play hard. We recently coined an unofficial team motto that I love..."no glam, some glory". If you work within a creative team, you most definitely can relate to it. We kill it everyday in design and in production but though it's extremely humbling for us to showcase our work, it's also essential to be "proud of" and celebrate it. So we make time every now and then to break bread and cut-up together - to remember why we work to live, not live for work. I can absolutely tell you that projects were waiting for us to finish our good time, return to work, and return to the eternal livelihood of deadlines. Well we ignored that life for 2 hours - then went back to work...the next day. The photo included kind of sums it up.
